PLDC - A top official of Sepahan club told reporters yesterday following the team's loss to Esteghlal Ahvaz: "In the match against Esteghlal Ahvaz we were missing 7 or 8 key players due to injury and suspension, but despite this fact we played a decent game and only failed due to two accidental occasions, which the coaching staff can not be blamed for." He continued: "There was no reason not to be motivated against a team like Esteghlal Ahvaz and we lost due to missing our main players and nothing else." We also, he added, "were faced with some unfair decision making on the part of the referees, even though it did not impact us directly in the last game, we did have two players red carded in our previous games which impacted us in our last games negatively." In regards to the upcoming Asian Club Championship, he said: "This upcoming March we will start our journey in the Asian Club Championship and if Kazemi can not get the team out of the current crisis, then the management will have to consider hiring a new coaching staff." "We will stay behind our coaching staff for the next 3 games, and we will support them to get us out of these crisis." he concluded. |
